The proposed vertical transportation system for Orthopedic Hospital, Zahoor Elahi Road, Lahore consists of twelve elevators serving all five floors of the hospital. The system is specifically designed to support the operational requirements of a healthcare facility, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable movement of patients, medical staff, visitors, and hospital equipment.
Each elevator has a rated capacity of 1600 kg and operates at a speed of 1.5 m/s, providing smooth and rapid transportation throughout the building. The elevators are suitable for stretcher and bed transportation and are equipped with advanced control systems, automatic door operation, emergency communication facilities, backup safety features, and energy-efficient technology to ensure uninterrupted and dependable service.
